This year, on Saturday July 7th, I'd like to encourage everyone to make a Free Hugs Sign or shirt and head out into their cities and support International Free Hugs Day.

The Free Hugs Campaign continues to spread its goodwill message around the world and on 7.7.7 let's all get together and Hug the World.

I'll be out in the Pitt Street Mall on Saturday July 7th for International Free Hugs Day. To everyone who's putting together a campaign of their own, I wish you the best of luck, and we all know, you're going to have a fantastic day.

June 30th this year marks the 3 year anniversary of my involvement with the Free Hugs Campaign. I'll have been making signs, slipping into that red velvet jacket and hugging Sydney for 3 years and I hope many more to come!

June 30th is halfway through the year and certainly a fitting time for us to all stop and take a look at how far we've come and where we want to go from there.

If we can't make every day a Free Hugs Day, then together, let's make International Free Hugs Day the first weekend after the 30th of June, every year.

Alone, we can't change the world, but together, we can make a difference, one stranger, one smile and one hug at a time.
