stephanie I found this old Reiki course that was in the public domain and I have posted it on my energy healing website. It is a full course in Reiki energy healing. You will learn all three levels (I, II, and III) plus some additional tools to help you.
Reiki is an excellent way to improve your health and well-being. Even if you do not use it professionally or on others, it is great to use on yourself.

Hello Stephanie,
I have read elsewhere on your blog that you consider yourself very scientific. I would like to ask you in what ways you consider reiki scientific. Ideally, if you could refer me to peer-reviewed studies, that would be the best!
I ask because I am involved in energy healing as well, and would like to know if there is in fact scientific basis for it's claims. Or the claims that there is an energy running through human beings.
People often want to believe something. People wanted to believe lots of things that were proven false through science. I would like to know how you personally balance the mystic with the scientist within you.
To go in a slightly different direction, I would like to ask about your belief in intuition (if you believe in it) and if you know of any well-run studies on the subject of intuition.

I don't consider Reiki to be scientific. I don't think everything in life needs to be scientific. In fact, I would prefer if people involved in new age things did not constantly try to make them out to be *supported by* science when they clearly are not. There is no evidence to suggest that theories of quantum physics support the Law of Attraction, for example.
This is not to say that there haven't been some studies showing the effectiveness of energy healing. I will direct you to the best book ever written on the subject of energy healing, which includes a thoughtful journey into the subject and cites many studies along the way:
